About the Client

Ms Adela, a resident of Cologn, Germany, worked as a hostess in various trade shows. She wanted to create a company and a web based application to provide trade show hostesses to companies who had taken stalls.

Problem Statement

Ms Adela had lots of business knowledge but limited budget. It required careful understanding of the need to define Minimum Viable Product. The MVP needed to ensure that the business took care of the demand and supply side of the business.

Solution

We developed a complete Business Requirement Document including understanding Ms Adela’s vision and mission statement. Complete list of processes was made for demand and supply for the hostess business. Key compliances were also noted which would have significant impact on the application.

While developing BRD, Ms Adela’s marketing strategy for the application was also noted. Based on the marketing strategy, key indicators which would track the progress was made part of the application feature set.

BRD gave development teams high level idea of why the application was being developed. Collaboratively development roadmap was developed and detailed requirements including screen designs were developed.

The client also developed application validation criteria as well.

Conclusion

Once overall business plan is understood, it is easy to develop product plan. It helps coordinate with all entities involved in the business.
